CFW Strategic Plan 2005-2010

As an educational institution, Kuwait University has vowed to encourage women to rise to leadership positions in the community and the nation by establishing the “College For Women (CFW)”. CFW is committed to providing an outcome-based learning environment that encourages and supports students' academic success.

There are many factors must be taken into consideration and new strategies that must be developed in order for the college to successfully plan for the future. Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis was performed to provide a framework for CFW educational administrators to use in order to identify the significant changes in life aspects and compare them to the existing educational programs. This comparison was then used to create a better future plan of actions.

Documentation for the strategic plan for the years 2005-2010 has been developed as a tool, to aid in the management of the complex pathways to success. We are confident that the new academic structure being developed for the college will improve our performance as a leading women’s educational institution, and fulfill our responsibility of helping women lead and meet new challenges.
