Highlight the title & information of the book you want to order with a marker, in the catalogs and send the catalog to the library.
If the book you want to order is not listed in the catalog, you can send us the complete information about the book and we will order it for you.
Expensive books, which cost over 100$, should be accompanied with a letter from the department head explaining the need for ordering the book. Following this we can forward the book order for processing.
Old editions of books, published before 1990, should be accompanied with a letter explaining the reason for ordering them.

Library Administration has developed a new systematic method for ordering books, wherein English & Arabic books will be ordered every alternate month. The division based on months is as shown below.

To get information about new publications that you can order please visit the database Books in Print with Book Reviews for books & Ulrich's database for information about periodicals or the websites www.amazon.com, www.abebooks.com www.isbn.nu etc.

Arabic & Non-Arabic Journal Orders – Procedure

Please write your orders on the journal forms (Blue forms for English journal orders & yellow forms for Arabic journal orders) and make sure they are legible. It is not compulsory to type the orders, but a typed order will ensure better clarity & less confusion.
Fill all the required fields.
Kindly STAMP the name of the ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT which is ordering the journal in the journal request form.
SIGN & stamp the orders in the correct place.
Send the catalogues or source of Journal order with the orders.
It is always better to send a covering letter with the orders stating the NUMBER of orders.
